From wooden plank to dining table – A look into the production of our March collection
Our March delivery is currently being prepared – a look inside the workshop
We expect our next delivery at the end of March. A large portion of the furniture is currently still in production – in precisely the phase where it is decided whether a table will later appear calm or restless, solid or cumbersome, generous or simply large.
We are deliberately showing some impressions from the production process here. Not as a marketing promise, but to show how these pieces are actually made.
Large dining tables with natural edges and extendable models
The focus of this delivery is clearly on large solid wood tables with natural edges. In recent months, we have specifically concentrated on formats that are rarely offered in standard ranges – not because they are spectacular, but because they work well in real living spaces.
The tabletops currently being produced are predominantly in the following price ranges:
- approx. 200 × 95 cm
- up to 240 × 120 cm for particularly wide planks
- Extendable tables with a maximum length of approximately 300 cm
Especially with the extendable models, it was important to us that the function didn't define the character. The mechanism remains invisible in everyday use – the table should feel like a single piece of wood, not like a technical product.
We deliberately avoided smaller formats. These tables are designed for open spaces, for long tables, and for people who see space not as a problem, but as a quality.
Round solid wood dining tables with a 150 cm diameter
Part of the production consists of large round dining tables with a 150 cm diameter. Such tables are structurally complex, especially in solid wood – which is also why they are rarely found.
Stability, legroom, and proportions must be perfectly balanced here. If any of these are off, the table will appear either heavy or unstable. That's precisely why we dedicate more time to the planning and construction of these models.
In use, they offer space for six to eight people and create a very direct, communicative atmosphere – without feeling cramped.
Sideboards and cabinets as complements
In addition to the tables, this delivery includes several sideboards and cabinets made of solid wood. They have a more understated design, deliberately less conspicuous.
Clean lines, solid construction, meticulous details. Furniture that blends in and still looks natural even after years – not because it's inconspicuous, but because it's perfectly proportioned.
Why we offer insights into production
We show selected production images because many decisions that are no longer visible later are made right here: wood selection, panel thickness, edge profile, proportions.
Solid wood is never identical. That's precisely what makes each piece unique – and that's exactly why we show this part of the process.
Arrival in early March
The furniture in this collection will arrive at our warehouse in early March. Some pieces will only be available in limited quantities, as we have deliberately chosen not to mass-produce them.
Once the delivery has arrived, appointments for viewing and selection can be arranged.
